nternship in an enterprise is an essential step in any career training for a student. The role of this internship is to allow you to familiarize yourself with the professional world and to put into practice the knowledge gained in college, thus facilitating the transition from higher education to enterprise culture. For this reason, the internship it is included in all curricula of any university specialization. This stage can take place in a private or public enterprise, in an association or a public location, industrial or commercial. The internship should be viewed as a "training stage" that will allow you to acquire professional skills, which to be used in a first job.
The overall objective of this project to increase the relevance of student internship by promoting cooperation networks between universities and enterprises in the EU, promoting training opportunities in these networks through quality internships in support of the transition from school to active life.

Q-PlaNet, the Quality Placements Network is network of Quality Reference Centres (QRC) for student placements. QRCs are offices acting at regional level for checking placement quality and promoting the mobility of students in practical training. Q-PlaNet sets up concrete standards and structures for quality assurance in order to provide students, host organisations and universities a solid an secured basis for European wide comparable placements.
